    		 There are rumors that John Woo will be directing a Metroid movie for 2006, this rumor/news/whatever has been around for going on 3 years now. They probably will fuck up the story, piss off hardcore fans, and ruin everything Metroid is. I ill still see this movie, there is a 50/50 chance it will rock!



    Anyways, I think Katherine Heigl from Grey's Anatomy would be great for the role, I like her acting, but I wonder if she could pull off playing bounty hunter Samus Aran in a movie adaptation of a classic and very popular video game directed by the great John Woo. I just don't know. What do you all think?

      		 WOW! She'd make a great Samus Aran! As for the movie itself, they might screw it up like with many of the videogame adaptations turned into movies which have been quite disappointing! For example, look at "Final Fantasy - The Spirits Within". That was a piece of crap! I haven't seen the "Doom" movie, but it looks very true to the game(s) with the way the camera does the first person view! If they do a "Metroid" movie, they need to make it hardcore with suspense, horror, and action-adventure but nothing cliched! They should also make it rated R or PG-13 and also make it looooooong!

        		 Oh yeah, there also needs to be plenty of blood and gore to go around! Nothing lame and stupid like the "Aliens Vs. Predator" movie that many fans have waited years for but were disappointed by! Finally, I suggest they get a GOOD orchestrated soundtrack! I sometimes get tired of a movie always having to rely on songs from different bands such as Blink 182 etc. Take "Star Wars" for example! ALL the music there is new and original!

              		 Meh. The movie will prolly die fast, just like Super Mario Bros Movie, Final Fantasy: TSW, Streetfighter (I swear there's a movie), etc.
