Magus 6 years 5 months ago Posts: 165	Hell's kitchen is more fun to watch because of Ramsey yelling at everyone and some of them just freaking out. But, the chefs on Top Chef just seem so much better and competent.

CYNOR 6 years 5 months ago Posts: 125	Top Chef definitely has better Chefs. The egotism of the contestants on both shows is sickening, but that's why these people get picked. Even though it's about food, it's really still about ratings. I'm pissed that Richard Blaize lost T.C.; he was a much more competent and respectable chef than Stefanie. It's obvious she won because they've already had too many men take the title before. Hell's Kitchen is as staged as it gets, and they really need to expand the menu from Risotto and Scallops.

Well the show isnt called "Kitchen Dreams" of course Gordon Ramsay is going to help a kitchen that [u]needs[/u] it. However I will agree with you on one part. I have seen the original Kitchen Nightmares from the UK and they are a bit different. First of all they are focused on the nasty, disgusting, and shocking. Secondly Gordon Ramsay is alot more cruel in the American versions. Lastly alsmot every Kitchen in the American version plays off the whole "Makeover" concept and he always gives them some nice new Kitchen and junk. Ohh well. Anyway I choose Hells Kitchen. Top Chef tries to hard to be "gourmet" and doesnt question their skills on running a kitchen and serving "real" customers.
