My favorite VHS recording we had was "The Brave Little Toaster". My mom recorded it off the Disney Channel for me when if first premiered during the summer 1987. I watched that movie like every single day for the first two months we had it...than I scaled back to watching it at least one time a week for the next few months.

My Hocus Pocus that the tape had been recorded over so many times that there were the fuzzy lines going through the middle of the screen and sometimes it would skip
I'm a 90's kid and proud of it!

A tape of episodes of the Muppet Show recorded from Nickelodeon in 1994. I had more but I gave them away for something better.

Oh gosh, for me it would be anything with nudity in it. Although when I think about it, after the episodes of GI Joe and Transformers, my fave has to be an old David Letterman episode that i STILL HAVE.

We had several but unfortunately they aren't around anymoer the tapes have broken we had one that had Duck Tales, and Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers and it also had a Fairy Tail Thaetre type show on it of The Princess and the Pea. Another one had Alice in Wonderland on it from the 1908s, and another one had a mixture of old cartoons on it like My Pet Mpnster, Care Bears and The Disney Afternoon on it with lots of ohter cartoons. These two tapes don't exist either so there really isn't a VHS recording that is a favorite anymore.

My mother taped a Special of the Lucy-Desi Comedy hr (hosted by her daughter) which was called We Love Lucy". It was on FOX 5 (ch 5) here in NYC back in like 1987 with the commercials on that tape (Tape 1). My mother also taped on NBC 4 (ch 4) Peter Pan from the 60s from 1989 (also had AWESOME commercials) Some of the commericals are on RJ ^^ Infact, if you guys see ANY of my comments, please give me a link to the commericals from the 80s ^^

I recorded two reruns of AFHV while I was at school, and they were good ones as well.

                          More favorite TV tapes:

-A tape with some episodes of Tiny Toon Adventures, X-Men, Underdog, and Batman: The Animated Series from 1994. It also has some of the Disney Afternoon from 1990: featuring 2/3 of a Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers episode and all of a Talespin one.
-A tape from 1989 with the Bugs Bunny Easter Funnies Special, the original Puff the Magic Dragon special, a bit of the show Shining Time Station, the Disney movie Melody Time and an episode of Chip 'N Dale's Rescue Rangers: Flash the Wonderdog.
-A tape from 1991 with Felix the Cat: The Movie, the special Sebastian's Caribbean Jamboree, the Disney Alice in Wonderland movie, and the first two episodes of Dinosaurs. It also has a TV spot for the 2nd Ninja Turtles movie.
-A tape from 1989 and 1992 featuring various Batman shows: The 1989 portion features episodes of the Adam West Batman show taken off both the Family Channel and my local channel KUSI-51 San Diego. The 1992 half features episodes of Batman: The Animated Series during its first week (excluding the Clayface 2-parter). It has bits of Hunter reruns from 1989 at the end, as well as commercials for various movies like Batman, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Honey I Shrunk the Kids.
-A tape from 1989 that has episodes of the Filmation Superman series, an episode of This is America Charlie Brown, the premiere of Garfield's Babes and Bullets, an episode of the 80's Smothers Brothers TV show, and another episode of the Adam West Batman show.
-Another 1989 tape featuring Bugs Bunny's Howl-O-Ween, and the Great Pumkin, Charlie Brown. It also has Cinderella, the Chucklewood Special the Turkey Caper, an 80's special called Sparky's Magic Piano, and some old episodes of the 60's Beatles cartoon that featured Paul Frees. It also has a Disney DTV on it.
-A tape from 1990 (and possibly also late-'89) featuring the Secret of NIMH, the Flintstones special Wind-Up Wilma, a Disneyland repeat More about Silly Symphonies, a bunch of Mickey and Donald cartoons aired together, Morris Goes to School, and a edutainment special Winnie the Pooh discovers the Seasons.
-A tape mostly from 1990 featuring some Zorro episodes, Disney's Rootin' Tootin' Round Up, and a special about the rerelease of the Jungle Book entitled JTV: The Jungle Book reunion. I taped over the Dick Tracy Making of Special for episodes of X-Men and Batman: The Animated Series (I did that a lot... now I'm kicking myself)
-A tape from 1989 with two movies and two Thanksgiving specials: The movies are A Boy Named Charlie Brown and the Muppets Take Manhattan, while the specials are Garfield's Thanksgiving (once again, its first airing), and Bugs Bunny's Thanksgiving diet.
