Why are we still discussing this thread? We all know Zelda isn't an RPG.
I want to be a dentist.

Twilight Princess was fun, the graphics were nice, so was the gameplay, but the NPCs just sucked. Seriously, Link didn't have many people to interact with like in the older games, which really threw me for a loop.

At least in Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time, etc., there were quite a lot of people Link could talk to. I hated the fact that you couldn't buy anything in the bar.

Oh, as for Midna (whatever her name was), I liked her, then again, I never had any problems with Navi in OoT, and Tatl (I think) from MM, so I guess that's not saying much where I'm concerned. Oh, and I also found the GC version easier than the Wii version.

I should at least try it out, then.

I'm thinking of getting "Phantom Hourglass", but I don't really know what the game is like...

that's what I'm enjoying about link's awakening. I have to talk to so many different people to trade things to get certain items in the game. And also to get stuff that's required to continue the game with.

I know that the dungeon levels have 2-D style gameplay to them, while the bosses are fought in 3-D (just like in "Sonic Rush Adventure" on the same system).

Zelda is NOT an RPG. It is an ACTION RPG, not in the traditional sense you're thinking of. It's really more of an Adventure game, when you're not running around getting into random battles.

                      I agree with Xe-A-Thoul.

I pretty much said earlier in this topic, that it's an Adventure game with RPG characteristics.

imo, its a great game the only thing i hate is that you have to go to the same MAIN dungeon over and over....

well there are a bunch of other places to go to, but you always have to go back to one main dungeon and as you progress you go farther and farther into...but i will tell ya that its definitely better than windwaker
