Simply the greatest fantasy movie ever! loved this since i was a kid back in the 80's and is one of my all time faves, i had a thing for Dorothy and they recently made an awesome slot game of this at one of the casinos here in Albuquerque.

An awesome movie. WAY ahead of it's time in my opinion.

A true classic, I think in my own opinion those flying monkeys are scarier then the Wicked Witch.

Ever done the Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon sync up with Wizard of OZ? Pretty cool shiz, especially when blazed. I wonder who figured this out.

I was never really into Wizard of Oz. I have no idea why. I always preferred Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory when it came to iconic children's movies. I never got the appeal of Annie or Sound of Music, either.

I didn't like this movie when I was younger, but I've come around to really enjoying it as an adult. The fact that it's been referenced or spoofed in many of my favorite 80s movies adds an additional level of enjoyment to it.

Now if only the "Wicked" fan-girls could stop their fawning over that musical and give this movie some credit for once...

It would be so cool if you started a thread about Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory!

and the one made in 1925 is kinda weird.
