Just because you don't like Mary Worth doesn't mean others don't like it. In fact, there must be a great many people that like reading Mary Worth and Prince Valiant, because they have been in the comics section for MANY, MANY years now. If they weren't popular, they would have been removed long ago.

I guess you can use that same reasoning for why 'Peanuts' lasted so long. As far as I'm concerned, the only thing worthy of recognition is the distinctive look of his characters. All other content is either obnoxious or boring (to me). But, like I said in my LAST post, that's why *I* think it SUCKS. I wasn't forcing my opinion on others, I was mildly debating the readability of a drama comic. See? I should have been a lawyer. Syntax is on my side, baby!

I've read Azumanga Daioh and seen the show (not all of it). It's quite funny. The characters are truly amusing, especially Osaka and her random sayings.

If they did run it in an American paper, though, I bet most anything they'll somehow edit out the whole Kaorin > Sakaki stuff.

Hey i have read that!! I thought the manga was quite amsuing....weird but amusing and very random.
I am: "Female Ninja Assassin", "Kakashi's Biggest Fan", "Local Naruto Nerd", "Scarer of the Noobs", "Youngest Person on RJ", "Pirate Ninja Sailormouth of the RJ Seas", "Queen of Randomness", and "Navigator on the S.S. Retrojunk."

That's what made it so good, and since it has a basic storyline (students going through their three years of High School) it's nice, and simple to follow. That's good for "strip" format.

I love manga and honestly do not mind this change. That is, as long as they can add A LOT more pages in order to fit each and every different manga story in, then it should work well! Of course, this doesn't mean that they'd necessarily have to put the WHOLE thing in! What I mean is, they can put the first half of each manga in (let's say no more than five to ten pages) and then fit the other half in later and keep going from there! Otherwise, if they only add in one strip per day, it's not going to work.

There is no damn way they would dedicate an entire page to a single manga strip, let alone A LOT more pages to accommodate it.
