What albums do you actually own in CD format?

    Here are mine:

    Nevermind
    Jar of Flies
    Siamese Dream
    Foo Fighters
    Dirt
    Daydream Nation
    The Colour and the Shape
Nirvana: Live and Unplugged in New York
    Core
    A-Sides
Rotten Apples (The Best of the Smashing Pumpkins 1991 - 2001)

    What are yours?

What? Those are the only cds you own?!
I have like 300 cds and close to 500 records, not to mention all my cassette tapes. There's no way I'm naming all of them.

Yeah, my parents are very restrictive on what I listen to, so I hadn't been able to buy any for awhile. The Smashing Pumpkins album actually belongs to my brother, and the other two I just bought at Best Buy today. I had to sneak 'em.

My parents don't like my taste in music and think it's a bad influence.

When I still wrote the fanzines, at it's peak, my spare bedroom contained well in excess of 7500 cds.

I have trimmed it down to a neat 400 or so now.

At this point my collection is pretty much complete too. I'm always looking for good new stuff, as for older music I'm looking for the German pressing of Zappa's Weasels Ripped my Flesh, Frijid Pink's first album and I'm always on the lookout for Who stuff. I have all their stuff on cd and everything on vinyl except A Quick One, It's Hard and the vinyl pressing of Endless Wire.

Wow, that would take a while. I just started using those dang "mp3" players.

I guess these are the days when questions like this are actually asked. And as others have said I have too many to name. But I do own every Beatles, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Primus, Alice In Chains, Nine Inch Nails, The Who, R.E.M., Pink Floyd, Stone Temple Pilots, and probably some other bands on CD.
                                      Pearl to the damn Jam
