Does anyone here like the band Rush? Or at least listen to a few of their songs?

A few of the songs they play on the radio, and that people may be familiar with are Tom Sawyer, Limelight, Red Barchetta, Subdivisions, and Spirit of the Radio.

My favorite member is Neil Peart. Not only did he write most of the songs for all 24 albums, his drumming is second to none, in my opinion.

Been to three Rush shows. Each one is better and better. Peart is a God. Btw, I was at the World Music Theater taping for Different Stages. I didn't know I was near the guy recording the show.

I like Rush! Listened to them since I was a kid! I like a lot of their albums. I like La Villa Stragiato(sp?) and their other instrumental tracks. They do good stuff!

They're instrumentals are the only ones I can sit and listen too all the way through. YYZ, Leave That Thing Alone, 2112: Overture, Limbo, Where's My Thing?, La Villa Strangiato and the rest.

Check it out. They have a Wiki about the Instumentals: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rush_instrumentals

Peart's live drum solos are just legendary.

Rush is bad ass. My step dad owns the Snakes and arrows and other CDs and albums. In fact my step dad owns a lot of albums.

I saw a Rush sunset show at the Gorge in George, Washington about 5 years ago. "2112" and "Farewell To Kings" kicked ass so fucking hard. Xanadu is my favorite song of all time. I want it played at my funeral.
