I hated Jurassic Park. You know when you're a kid every movie with dinosaurs in it is awesome. Jurassic Park was the first movie where I went, "You know, a movie needs more than dinosaurs and special effects to be cool..." That was the movie that made me question everything I believed to be true up to that point. I was 13 :(

That's depressing. Like you lost a bit of your childhood that day...
I'm guessing you weren't a big fan of this, either:

You guys, wanna see something scary and 12 years old? Go ahead, see it!

            http://timbox129.blogspot.com/2008/06/lost-world-jurassic-park-1996-teaser.html

So, is it the ever-terrifying but rarely seen 1996 teaser trailer for the mediocre but impressive 1997 sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park?

Well, I described that 12 year old teaser trailer for the Lost World: Jurassic Park as the most frightening thing in any other promotional materials ever made for any movie like Jurassic Park and its sequels to many of us (especially those who are youngsters at the time this teaser was put out) who watch the Jurassic Park movie series in the 1990's and 2000's. I regret dubbing the scary dinosaur, the T-Rex from Hell, or something like that. That teaser for Jurassic Park's lackluster sequel, The Lost World, would go down in movie history as one of the scariest theatrical teasers and theatrical trailers of all time.

Here are screenshot representations of the dinosaur, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, could well scare the popcorn out of those who are youngsters 12 years ago, and give their parents a few cold chills as well!

See, that frightening glimpse ended with the monster stomping his three toed bird like feet in the water, making a puddle. I've jammed that 12 year old T-Rex clip in one of my two fan made trailers for Dexter's Laboratory: Ego Trip, in an attempt to scare Dexter and his wimpy teenage future self and nearly trampling them with that dinosaur. (You can hear the Dexters screaming from Ego Trip, which is almost inaudible because of the T-Rex roaring.)

See the 1996 teaser for The Lost World: Jurassic Park in my blog, the World of Timbox at

                http://timbox129.blogspot.com/2008/06/lost-world-jurassic-park-1996-teaser.html

                at your own risk.

P.S. you better watch out for the T-Rex in that 12 year old teaser trailer clip!

its cgi is much more real than todays cgi,its hard to believe its that old already.

there wasnt really a lot of CGI except for far away scenes. the close up scenes were all anamatronics. which is why movies today suck. they dont use anamatronics

You know, the new Hulk movie is supposed to have CGI, prosthetic makeup, AND anamatronics mixed together. The first Hulk only used CGI.
