James Cameron stated in the retrospective that he was thinking of all the 70s slasher flicks when making this. And he came up with the endo skeleton from a nightmare that he had. No other film has ever scared me so much. I love it.

kayvee 6 years 4 months ago Posts: 3695	The Exorcist is one of those movies that still manage to intimidate me just as effectively as it did when I was a younger. There are just so many dark, psychological elements in this movie that have an impact on the viewer. It's just effective film making all around the board.
