Well that's kinda stretching it. I used to be a proud supporter of GameStop... well, until they got rid of their sixteen bit titles. But still, saying you're not a true gamer just for entering a GameStop? Even I wouldn't go that far.

    McVan's in Evansville, Indiana!

Now we know where you live, man!

I've been to GameStop and Software Ect, which is it's spin off company. Seems like all they ever have are end-of-the world scenario video games. I want something fun, darnit!

I don't live in Evansville, but my hometown is not too far away from it.

You're right, McVan's is full of true gamers that ripped you off with a copy of Mega Man 7 that you bought for $65. I got my copy of Mega Man 7 complete in mint condition from Austrailia for $40, and it was the American version. They ripped you off just like GameStop, man!

No I think it was worth it; at least it wasn't ONE HUNDRED bucks like the copies of "Earthbound" they have for sell at Amazon!

What a ripoff. I got mine at GameStop for 3000 cents in 2003.

                  I bet it wasn't complete, Xe-A-Thoul.

Maybe if you got it before Super Smash Bros. came out, then you'd be able to get it at a decent price. Even though I got my copy in 2002 when most people knew about it after Super Smash Bros., I managed to get it at the decent price of $50.

It was complete? Well that makes a little more sense. Still, what a ripoff. You had to get your copy from a continent full of kangaroos and shrimps on Bar-bees, while I found mine in a walk-in.

That's about... 16% of EarthBound fans these days.

I meant complete as in it has the box, instructions, all of the inserts, and the game.

I first played Earthbound at my brother's friend's house in 1997. I didn't know what it was called until Super Smash Bros., I'm glad I actually got to play it before Super Smash Bros. because it makes the game feel more special to me. I remember naming all of the characters based on what I thought they looked like.

                              Example: I named Poo "Baby."

Wow really? Ya don't say! You're just like one of the 84% of EarthBound "fans!"

I rented EarthBound sometime in 1997, with some consideration from my brother. Me being about eight or so, I wasn't very good at RPGs, and got stuck on Frank.

But really, this shouldn't turn into yet another EarthBound/Mother topic. This topic is, like "Say No to GameStop!", is about GameStop, and why it's hated, and why people hate it, while unreasonable folks like Sonic64 just don't understand, like Mom and Dad and Vicki, always giving him commands.
