To Transfer tapes to Computer all you need is a Capture Card. Ati has a good capture card I have the All in Wonder 9000 you can set it up to run your VCR in to the card and it will show on your computer and it comes with software to capture it. One thing though I have this setup but make sure that the tapes runs smoothly if you care about the video quality best to use a SVHS VCR! Hope this helps!

I would not recomend an ATI tuner card. Do a google search for Macrovision and ATI. I use the WinTV-pvr 150 by Hauppauge, no problem with Macrovision.
And now for something completely different................

I propose that we get Mystie an ultrafast PC with gobs of storage, and an OC-48 to her house.

And then we require her to share the old school nickelodeon goodness.

On VHS I own pretty much all of the Ren and Stimpy episodes that Nick released on VHS, but I now bought all of the seasons of the show on DVD.

yes, rosebud frozen peas. Full of country goodness and GREEN PEANESS. wait that's terrible, I QUIT!

I did have a lot of classic nick stuff in the 90's but a lot were recorded over because of me not labeling the tapes and some were recorded over because I desparetly needed a tape for something.
