How can Hip-Hop be dead when Wu-Tang is forever?

And the fact there is tons of great underground rap out?

In defense of legit arguments of hip hop is dead, the last Wu-Tang album was pretty crappy.

and most underground is insanely over-hype just for the pure notion of it being underground, and nothing more.

I heard that this "gang" is composed primarily of Africans.

You actually expect me to believe that?

I have to agree, with the last album.

But over hype? I totally disagree with that. Sure, some of the underground albums get extremely overrated, but I'm curious as to how anything like this or this or a myriad of other acts can be considered "insanely overy-hype" when it's not even known on an underground level.

Also, artitsts such as MF Doom, Madlib, Immortal Technique, and some other well known underground acts are certainly deserving of all the "hype" they get.

While Murs, Blu, and Atmosphere get a tad bit more than they deserve.

I used to think that I was really in touch with urban culture because I listened to Immortal Technique. Then I found out that the urbans pretty much just listen to Lil' Wayne.

SCHWING. Luckily, I've beend handing out music to my friends, and we've shunned Lil Wayne since, I actually had a friend refer to me as the "Jesus Of Rap" because I was his "savoir" or some shit.

I prasie the almighty Grimace, for he is the ideal character of redemption, from 4 arms and stealing milkshakes to 2 arms and helping Ronal McDonald, though usually clumsily, without hesitation.

Of course, Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx is my 6th favorite rap album ever, GZA's Liquid Swords is right up there as well. I just didn't understand how you worded that.
