dalmatianlover 6 years 7 months ago Posts: 83	I'm so mad! My most recent article turned out to be a disaster, and now I'm the worst member of Retrojunk, and it's all my fault. If it weren't for velcrohead and all that consecutive bashing he did on my past articles on how amateurishly written they were, I wouldn't have been tempted to write an article like that. People used to love my articles, but now this recent one I did has brought shame and disgrace onto everyone! I guess these means I'm getting banned...unless banning people doesn't work that way.

I highly doubt that your recent submission (see how I used a different word as opposed to 'article?' was a bannable offense. So you wrote a bad article... so what. Everybody has their bad days. Even the most popular article developers makes an entertaining uproar article once in a while... one bad apple doesn't spoil the whole bunch. That said... wheels in Popcorn Maker

If you look beyond the aggressive tone and ACTUALLY listened to him (and countless others) you'd realize that he has given some really helpful advice. But I digress. Quit fishing for compliments and suck it up. Like Xe-A-Thoul said, we all have bad days. Instead of looking at this negatively, use it as an opportunity to make your next article reinforce what you said in this article. Wow us all with a well written article about something different. If your feelings right now are accurate, the only way to go from here is up, so use it to go really far up! And finally, just so I don't get a reputation, I want you to know that you honestly do have some talent in writing. Sometimes you'll say something in an article that is truly amusing or interesting. Keep up the good work and strive for improvement!

B.) the author gets annoyed by the interface after writing the damn thing and having it deleted that he just says fuck it. C.) monkey's with typewriters can write better articles than most of the retrojunkies.

MissALibra86 6 years 6 months ago Posts: 525	My first article sucked too. The trick is to write about something that you are interested in and something that you know or can easily research. It has to cause some stir in people's curiosities and memories, and sometimes it's tough to tell what subject will do that. Grammar and spelling are important too. Also, don't write your article in Word and then copy it to the site, as weird apostrophies and question marks will appear in your article. And yes, lots of pictures please! Just place them nicely in your article. Good luck to all of you.
