pacman23 6 years 7 months ago Posts: 6	ok while back i came across the original reels of hte the donkey kong cartoons so i i bought them .. i wanting to put them on dvd or blue ray .. also have them prof. cleaned up andtransfered .. i got a quaot form a place and i have 12 reels for 1 reel it wil cost 460$ to have transfered and clean .. i going to do this for each but it wil take time im sure .. .. i feel thtat i got a lucky find casu there are cartoons that havent aired since then back inb the 80s on it awsome huh .. well any ? u can email me [email protected] hope i can get htem worked on

One word of advice, though - have the transfer place put them on Mini-DV (or even better, HDV pillarboxed in 4x3 to preserve the original aspect ratio), not DVD. Then you have a high quality digital video master to source your DVDs from and can control the bitrate yourself when transferring to DVD later. Awesome find!
