The TMNT Arcade Game. I can't remember what playing it was like at all (died really fast), but I remember that was the first time I convinced my mom to give me a quarter for an arcade machine.

Pong was my first console experience and Pac Man my first arcade experience.

Gorf, Commodore 64. God I loved that game. I also had 2 role playing games that were all text, I think one was about a haunted house and the other was about being lost in the woods or something.

To be completely honest, I'm not too sure. The first one I ever owned was Super Mario World, but I played stuff prior to that.

I'm going to say either Super Mario Bros, Sonic the Hedgehog, or Paper Boy.

probably "Combat" or "Air, Sea Battle" for the Atari 2600.

If the Dragon Warrior mentioned was for the nintendo, it was not the first RPG. the first RPG was the legend of zelda for the nintendo.

I believe it was an arcade of Ms. PacMan. I know for sure that GALAXIAN for the 2600 was my first console game (or the first one I remember playing).

For the Nintendo, maybe, but there were lots of RPG's before that: "Dungeons and Dragons" and "Tower of Doom" on Intellivision, "Ultima" and "Zork" on the PC and C64, and "Adventure" for the Atari

The very first videogame I ever played, if my memory serves me, was the original "Super Mario Bros." We got a NES when I was five turning six and I was immediately hooked.

Zelda was an action-adventure type game. And yes, there were many RPG's released before DW (which I should have said so in my first post ), but DW was the first traditional Japanese RPG to be out in America that would be overshadowed by Final Fantasy.

My family owned this game and my sister liked it.

I tried playing it when I was a kid but I could never figure out what I was supposed to be doing.

I can barely remember, but I think my first was Castlevania for the NES. Or maybe it was the mario/duckhunt game. I think.

The first video game I ever played was ZAXXON for the Mattell Intellivision II.
