I'm going to say Breakfast Club, only because it was played on saturday afternoon tv more than any other movie ever made.

Breakfast Club....guys could identify with it.

Plus, you watch 16 Candles and you get a comedy with romantic overtones (chick flick). You watch The Breakfast Club, you get a comedy thats also a pretty striking expose' on the real-world division of kids in the mid 80's and how different everyone was.

Course....Fast Times at Ridgemont High kicks both these movies asses..but I digress ;)

awwh cmon! breakfast club wins hands down! but if it went up against pink, then id have trouble deciding. besides, the reason breakfast club is better is the kickass music, AND the diversable rag-tag group they make, thats all about good movie making. 16 candles just has a girl with a birthday no one remembers and her grandma feels her up. boo. breakfast clube had her taking her boobs and putting lipstick on using only her breasts! KICKASS!

(I think Sacred was favoring 16 candles. Just a hunch. )

Dong Duck Long (however it was spelled) was funny no matter which one you pick. "I don't care who ya are dat der's funny! Hehe, Get'r DONE!"

But my vote goes to the Breakfastclub, I just saw it more, liked it more, and, since I'm a guy, I could identify with it more.

sorry to have a cheap pun in this, but Sixteen Candles doesn't even hold a...well ya know,candle...

Breakfast Club in a VERY easy pick.

Sacredscred, you've asked this in a forum with a high population of straight men... of course Breakfast Club is gonna reign supreme on this board! Dunno why, but I've never seen all of Sixteen Candles, so I can't really accurately judge.

well where John Hughes was considered the patron saint of teen movies, that is a hard question to answer amongst me and my sisters. but for me, it's Sixteen Candles all the way. ya gotta love the Donger and because my mom would let me watch The Breakfast Club because of the constant use of the F word (like I haven't heard that word from my dad at least 10 times a day. )

Well me personally I like both of them.... and pretty in pink...THEY ALL ROCK

I'm a huge brat-packer fan so any of those are an "A" in my book...except for St. Elmo's Fire... never liked it

But even though it didn't not include the brat-pack team...I classify Ferris Bueller as the same genre of movies and just as good!!!

Why don't they make movies like that anymore?
