    		 The USA Network right now is a humiliating pile of junk. As compared to the 80's and 90's when the Cartoon Express was around, also on of the better moments, USA is showing horrible prime time shows in the morning! Their horde of senseless movies are nothing but a wasteland! Speaking of the Cartoon Express, those times were the better times around. Even in the mid to late 90's, the Cartoon Express had lots of adequate programming, and even better programming back then in the early 80's. Somebody should take over the USA Network, and bring back the Cartoon Express, but this time show some toons that are currently shown on CN, Toon Disney, and Nickelodeon. Sooner or later, these three networks will be asked to swap the programs.

        		 I agree, grand80sfan. Today's USA Network is dull and boring. I also miss the days of the Cartoon Express.

              I second. Just because this site is dedicated to the wonderful things in that past that several items are entirely gone, this does not mean you can rant on something new and ahead of the time we where in. I mean it just derails the site's potential meaning.

                  		 Instead of the article being why USA sucks now, make it things you fondly remember about USA in the day. I personally miss USA up all night, as well as Friday the 13th the Series and Freddy's Nightmares (I'm pretty sure that those were both originally on USA). I also seem to remember some really stupid Dracula show that was on USA that I only saw once or twice.

                  But yeah, USA used to have the best movies, on the weekends you had Up All Night where they'd play the cheesiest, most violent, most horrific movies they could find, and during the day they'd have marathons of horror movies. I miss being able to see horror movies on tv.

                    		 i rmember they used to show a Problem Child toon...that was the right channel right? and Itsy Bitsy spider which was based on the animated movie short that came before Bebe's kids. never watched that fully.

                        		 If you are going to write an article about the USA Network, please don't say that it sucks now. Instead, write about the things you remember about the USA Network in the old days and write your perspective on it.

                        I didn't watch that much USA as a kid so I think this would be interesting to me as long as if it's done right.

                            Anime has nothing to do with it, cable does. The USA Cartoon Express ended in the mid 90s, iirc, there wasn't that much anime on TV back then. Cartoon Network is probably the cause of USA dropping the block.

                                  I sincerely doubt that. The majority of what CN showed back then was HB stuff. Anime was shown maybe once a week. Most stations stopped showing cartoons probably because CN was a 24 hour cartoon station. Why compete with something like that?

                                  Also, for a while, TBS and TNT were still showing cartoons at that time, along with CN, but that's not surprising in the least, given who owns them...
