Now there is Corpsegrinder and I think he's ok, not as good as Barnes. My favorite albums from them are Butched at Birth and Tomb of the Mutilated. Fucking brutal ass shit. And their album covers, fucking gruesome. Love that shit.

Samael and Desultory still played, though. The venue was an ex-slaughterhhouse that still had the hooks in the rafters. Alex and I shared a chat about Fleetwood Mac and how cool nasty slide guitars are. Oh yes. Those were the days.

But it is true that I met many "stars" of the metal scene when I lived in Germany. Downset, Dog Eat Dog, Machine Head, Obituary, Cannibal Corpse, Pantera.... you name it, I met them. Whn Bodycount toured (before Moosemandied) I met Ice-T. He's short.
