I used to be the biggest fan of The Cure ever. I still have all their albums - my favourite is Pornography - but ever since Blood Flowers came out I have not been interested in them at all. Anyone else listen to these crazy bastards?

I like them. I got into them because of their song "Burn" from the soundtrack for "The Crow". I know that song sounds nothing like the rest of their work, but I liked it, and it turned me on to their other work. I also had an ex who thought "Lovesong" was "our song" however I didn't love her, so I say it wasn't.

You're the same as me - Burn was my favourite song of theirs for a long time. Some stuff on Pornography and Disintergration sounds like Burn. James O'barr says he listened to those two albums over and over when making the Crow comic.

Actually, why isn't Siouxie posting in this thread? She was best buddies with Robert Smith atone stage...

I still like a lot of the cures songs but I mostly hear them in elevators or remixes now. We're old.

Disintegration is said to be their masterpiece. I remember when Blood Flowers came out in about 1999 or 2000(?) It was marketed as "completeing a trilogy" of albums, the first two in the trilogy being Pornography and Disintegration.

                        I like them a lot.

Head on the Door and Disintegration are my favorites.

Pornography is great when you want to hang yourself.

Who remembers the song "Boys Don't Cry" from 1979 and its 1986 remix specific to the singles compilation "Standing on a Beach/Staring at the Sea"?

And actually, the Siouxsie you're referring to on RJ is not the real one, but merely a fan of the Banshees with the coincidental first name. The real Siouxsie was born on May 27, 1958, not February 27, 1971.
