    		 Imagination Land nearly became the second South Park theatrical release but Matt and Trey decided to just make it a three part episode and special DVD instead.

      They were put together and released uncut with more footage for a DVD movie. Wikipedia says they only thought about making it a theatrical release.

          It's been long overdue for a second South Park movie. Well, since they actually thought about it, maybe it's still possible. But come on! It's been almost 10 years!
