    		 Frank Zappa said they were better than The Beatles. Opinions?

        		 What I've heard of their stuff was pretty horrible, although from what I gather it was through no fault of their own. Their father was a bit wacky. His mother gave him a palm reading and told him that, in the future, his daughters would start a rock band, so he bought them some instruments and ordered them to start playing and writing songs immediately.

          		 Yeah the music is absolutely awful. Tom Cruise bought the rights to their biography and is going to produce a movie about them. Could be interesting.

            		 The singer actually has a not bad and pretty distinct voice, but the guitarist and drummer are totally incompetant. Their song My Pal Foot Foot is an alright enough novelty song and I like the title track from Philosiphy of the World, it's about the concept of the haves and havenots which isn't often a basis for lyrics in pop music.
