Classic 80's Sci-fi actioner with gore, action, dark humor and satire on the media! i think it's Paul Verhoeven's masterpiece and made Peter Weller who he was along with "Buckaroo Banzai".

Story-wise it's great but as a movie in general....I prefer robocop 2. Robocop 2 also introduced us to frank miller who delivered the smash hit 300. Frank miller even has a small uncredited role in #2. But most people hate robocop 2...oh well

I liked robocop 2. Part 2 was inferior to the first film to be honest. They changed a lot of things from frank miller's script. He hated how the movie ended up and so did the star.

Also with frank Miller he wrote the scripts for robocop 2 and 3 but the producers fucked around with it no doubt the third movie would've been kick ass if stuff was'nt changed
I watched the dvd version of robocop 2 they cut out his scene .

I remember when they were filming it here in Dallas. Kinda neat that they were supposed to be in Detroit, but at the first part of the movie during a chase scene you could see downtown Dallas in the background.
