One of my all time favorites! i remembered when i was 14 turning 15 in May 1997, i was and still a Sci-fi junkie and i loved it. Milla Jovovich made her stardom thanks to this and her sexiness, Bruce Willis was likable as always as the hero and Chris Tucker was jaw-droppingly hilarious.

Gary Oldman played one of the funniest bad guys around! I thought the film was a nice mix between "Spaceballs", "Blade Runner", "Heavy Metal", "Total Recall", "Running Man", "Star Wars" and even "The Dark Crystal" with non-stop entertain. I also loved the director's masterpiece "Leon (a.k.a. The Professional)" which is another must see film from Luc Besson.

      Spaceballs?? SPACEBALLS????

      Ooooookay.

I actually thought this was Chris Tucker's worst performance ever. That being said, I do like this movie. I even bought it for my PSP.

You think "Friday" was his best? well the comparisions of this movie and "Spaceballs" is that they are both Sci-fi comedies.

Awesome movie! Not the greatest acting in the world, but entertaining none the less. Milla was smoking in this film, and really made me realize how much I love redheads.

Back when I was 18 I watched it on a few hits of acid. Talk about an experience.

Oh yeah. The opera scene is bizarre that way!

The main thing I noticed, first on the acid, and then watching it straight. Is that the movie has a rhythym to it. It's weird. I can't explain it, but the dialogue, music, and everything just gell together into a kind of continuous musical/adventure/cool movie type thing.

Milla Jovovich is making the same character in every movie ever since. I love her but it's true.

Yes but this is her greatest role ever! Ruby Rhod may have been annoying but his screams are hilarious.

He had some of the most hilarious lines in the film!

Flight Attendant: Mr. Rhod, you are going to have to assume your individual position.
Ruby: I don't want one position, I want ALL positions!

Who thought Gary Oldman was hilarious as the villain? not as serious as his role in "Leon" but his Don Knotts-like voice was funny.
