I remember 2 of my teachers were resentful towards me; NOT JUST because I was naughty, but because they weren't used to teaching boys or girls who are capable of making their own decisions and stuff. jeniloo 8 years 3 months ago Posts: 24	My son will not be allowed to wear a haloween costume to school niether will my daughter, or son--it makes me very upset that my kids won't be able to look forward to those fun holidays, like we use to. it helped me get through the year a little easier. now there aren't any x-mas recitles, halloween parades, or even cupcakes on st. patty's day, or valentine's day. there should be a way to make these holidays ok for everyone, of every religion. can't the pta's come up with alternatives to these days, just so our children can have a little fun like we use to??? taking things like this away from our kids is just making thier lives too serious, at such an early age. bring back fun at school!!!

Fine, how about "Remember when we cut class and got a Double-Double Burger at In-n-Out (mmm, Double Double aggghhhhhh) and then had work detail during lunch, but snuck out of that to get another hamburger at In-n-Out? Awe-SOME!" My best memories of high school was laughing at the antics of the students (some kid throwing a chicken in the classroom and another kid streaking in the locker room) and the stupid things my teachers said. I don't remember my first foray into the majestic wonders of Pre-Calculus and the splendor of memorizing the god-damn Periodic Table. High school is filled with shithead teachers who don't realize that the difference between an A and a B is the deciding factor for most colleges. My spanish teacher wouldn't raise my 79.3 to a 80.0 because of moralistic reasons, I mean, just do it bitch, I try hard so just gimme the B. These teachers don't get it. Screw with the idiots who never come to class and fail every test, but be a little lenient on the students who try. They have the student's future in their hands and they really don't give a shit about it. They rip you a new asshole and if your smart, you escape by socializing a bit and cutting a few classes. The only people in high school who had fun were the people who stopped staying up past 3am to study for the last 50 years of U.S. history. My friend and I learned that senior year. High school is too fucking flawed and stupid to take seriously. I mean, a 4.0 isn't even good enough anymore, fuck that! Go to junior college for 2 years and go wherever the fuck you wanna go. Don't kill yourself for 4 years when you should be having fun.

Brick Wall 8 years 13 days ago Posts: 1435 Globally Banned	this might sound stupid, but hats were banned in my school for about 2 years. if you were wearing one, they would take them and give them to charity no questions asked. as well as camcorders and laser pointers. you can bring camcorders and hats back to school, but if you are found with a laser pointer, you get suspended
