You shouldn't have told on something so frivolous. Tattle tells sucked in school. I think most kids that were with it didn't tell on other kids.

I was only like 9 at the time and that kid was like 7 or 8

Yea kids tattle even in middle school. The popular kids usually don't get told on, but the not so popular kids do. It becomes less common, but still happens. By high school its totally unacceptable no matter who you are. White kids tend to tattle the most.

Yeah, I remember being tattled on in 7th grade for shooting a rubber band as a goof. I kind of just flung it from a distance and it barely touched some guy's shirt. My mistake was that I didn't even know the kid and only had him in one class. The kid was a total dweeb and I was just being playful because I smiled afterwards. The kid went and told on me and the teacher was a real jerk and he totally yelled at me in front of everyone as if I had punched the kid in the face and the teacher gave me some kind of letter for me to take home to have it signed. It was some computer teacher and not a real teacher and he was a real jerk because he had it out for me and even told me to go outside once and totally forgot about me outside the door. I felt like a total idiot standing out there for some trivial matter. When I came to him after class to ask him why he left me out there he said he forgot about me. What sucks is that I had a pretty bad childhood and took a lot of abuse both physical, emotional and psychological so getting yelled at was a huge deal for me because it always brought deep negative feelings and I felt two feet tall and I never wanted to be on anyone's bad side and wanted to be liked. I wish I would have told the teacher off and threatened him by telling him that I would tell an adult how he is picking on me in class but I never did. I just ate the abuse like I was conditioned to from childhood. I bet it was totally obvious in my body language and behavior that I was a pretty timid kid with low self esteem and an easy target for a bully so the teacher had it out for me because his reaction to me was always inappropriate.

Found out about these school bans:

Hat with army men was banned because the army men had guns.

Dictionaries were banned after a teacher found the s word

Kid with a multitool was isolated for 1 day because it had a knife

Mohawks got two Ohio kindergarteners suspended
