    		 i hate skool so much they always took the fun away like banning stuff
    like pogs, pokemom cards, yu gi oh cards, crazy bones, gameboys, sport cards(basketball,baseball,etc.)Super hero cards

      		 slap bracelets. at my school they banned Lazer Tag, for a very short time banned concert T shirts (quickly reversed...that was 90% of my wardrobe, along with harley shirts), friendship bracelets/pins(or at least the distribution of them in school).... ahh the joys of small town USA schools.

          		 Hats "cholo/gangster" clothes, Long shorts, intinal belt buckles, action figures, playing cards (standard 52), halter and tube tops, tank tops with skinny straps, any kind of toy (except on special days), shirts relating to drugs, alachol, or cigs, bandanas, braclets or belts with "excessive size spikes", Shirts with "tagging" on them and some sports clothes like Raiders stuff in my area.

            		 In my middle school we used to sell and trade sportscards (mostly basketball) and it got banned. And like the Prohibition days, we had these secret selling groups and all that. I wasted a lot of money on those damn cards.

              		 All the same stuff was banned when I went to school too. Any and all forms of trading cards, candy, slap bracelets, offensive shirts, etc etc.

              One time when I was a sophomore I went to school in a Green Day t-shirt that had a kid holding a brain and in red lettering said "eat your parents". I made it a little over half the day when one of the disciplinarians stopped in the hall on my way to class and told me I had to take it off or turn it inside out. Being the rebel and comedian that I am, I took it off right then and there and threw it at him and started walking down the hall in my bra. I got a couple days of in-house suspension but the shocked look on his face and the others around was PRICELESS!!!

                		 Anyone ever play the game Bump? Basically two people had a basketball shooting contest and there were two balls and you could bump one of the balls away from your opponent. This was apparently dangerous and was banned.

                    		 The only thing I really remember is slap bracelets and any kind of 'offensive' t-shirt. Things are crazy in schools now, it seems like EVERYTHING is banned

                        		 Believe it or not.... for about two weeks we actually tired of football (or 'soccer' to some of you) and bred a bizarre speedball-style hybrid.

                        Now, being nine we had always played with a spongy football that it was impossible to break the adjacent school windows with. But this new game involved a hard little blue rubber ball. We literally used to hurl it to each other and then chuck it at markings on the wall that defined the goal.

                        People would tackle each other on hard concrete just to get the ball and it came as no surprise that one morning in assembly the Head bought this game to an abrupt halt.

                        God, I wished I'd played football more as a kid. That ready made hour everyday, all the people on hand to play with. But I only got into sport later in life!!!

                                  		 In junior high, my friend started to buy breath fresheners in a liquid drop for everyone in class. They banned it because we were always using buying it from him for 50ยข and always using it. Because the active ingredient was alcohol they banned it.

                                    		 The Bic mechanical pencils...because some innovated genius decided to make mini crossbows out of them and shoot paperclips at people.

                                    Baseball Hats b/c they thought people would cheat off of them.

                                    Anything all one color ie: all blue, all black, all red outfits. Thought it promoted gang violence. :roll:

                                    Big Coats, couldnt wear them and if they didnt fit in your locker you were short...they thought you could conceal weapons in them.

                                    I'm sure there are more that I blocked out from my memory...Tells you what type of area I grew up in.

                                        I think we called this knockout where I live.

                                        I remember during our after lunch gym time a bunch of us were retarded and would perform pro wrestling moves on eachother and after a few weeks the principal made an announcment in front of everyone telling us it was too dangerous, I think he was probably right.

                                        Seems like they would ban everything that brought any joy to us. Me and my friends would always get in trouble for things that seem totally laughable today.

                                          		 I remember I had a shirt with a large can of Duff beer on it, with Homer Simpson's legs sticking out of the top. Funny as hell. Anyways, I wore it to Jr. High one day, and the dean told me to wear it inside out the rest of the day, explaining "I know it's not promoting beer, but you know the Simpson...he does some questionable stuff..." Yes, "The Simpson". Because, as we all know, there can be only one.

                                          So, as a happy ending to this story, one day in high school (I went to an alternative highschool, which is something everybody should do), I wore the same shirt, and I saw the principal on my way to class. He stopped me, and said "Is that shirt promoting beer?" I replied "No sir! It promotes falling into beer!" And with that, I went to class. Ah, those were the days...
