ok, i've seen these crazy drug-free psas recently. there's one where the 12-year old boy comes home and sees a table with all these sex-ed books and stuff (a model of a uterus, a book about divorce, a book with a blind smiley face in shades on the cover and it says "you could go blind" (it actually kind of looks like it was written by peter mayle), and a book about wet dreams called "waking up with a surprise" (and it has a shaggy blonde hair kid on the cover who looks like he's waken up with a wet blanket  ). Then the dad says "you're becoming a man now. want to talk about sex? or we can talk about drugs." And there's this other psa where the dad comes into the daughter's room and rolls up into her rug and goes "what am i?" and the daughter keeps guessing until dad says "im a joint". But seriously, isn't that effed-up? Have ya'll seen any kind of effed-up commercial like that?

          Those sound pretty stupid.

God I hate that commercial with a passion.
I loved my great grandmother a great deal, and just the idea of dissappointing her like that is enough to get me up in arms. I know its just a commercial, and the old lady was paid well for her part, but it still makes me want to beat the unholy hell out of anyone who would do a thing like that.

remember those ones where the kids would say something like "Don't judge me because I'm a teen. The only thing I lit up was a scoreboard." Then I made a parody one "The only thing I smoke is ham."

I remember the one where the kic comes home high and it's his little brothers birthday. And he's basically like "Fuck him! He's a stupid little kid." in front of his little brother, and walks off. That's just fricken retarded. I've done plenty of drugs in my life, and come home high plenty of times. But I would never do something like that to my brother or sister. Any kid who would do that high, would probably do the same thing sober, and would need a large shoe planted firmly up their back door.

Have you ever come home to see that while you were at school, your dad went out and bought a bunch of books about growing hair and having wet dreams and stuff, and it's all set up on the table in the hallway and then your dad's like "you're becoming a man. wanna talk about sex. or we can talk about drugs". LOL At least my parents are never like that. Were any of y'all's parents like that! lol

Do any of you guys remember the anti-drug ads that somehow connected drugs to terrorism? It was aired after 9/11 I think.

How bout the commercial where these two stoned kids had a gun and they accidently shot themselves.

                                    MARIJUANA. HARMLESS?

Oh god. What a load of crap. I've smoked pot plenty of times and I don't think I've ever got confused and not know what a gun is. I don't even think PDFA actually does their researching. They just plan to make rumours to scare people.

                                      Here's my made up commercial:
A boy is about to become 13 tomorrow, and he goes to bed.
                                      Boy: Good night dad!
Dad: Goodnight son! Happy 13th Birthday!
He goes to sleep and dreams that he's in the hallway at school. Then he notices girls all around him, and he can't take his eyes off their boobs. Then he wakes up and finds out that he had a wet dream! lol
Dad: Well son, you're becoming a man! Want to talk about sex? Or we can talk about drugs.

You're damn right, I`bot! PDFA is one effed-up organization that's just like "oh god teenagers are gonna smoke pot and not know what a gun is and shoot themselves!"
