NoCode0680 6 years 8 months ago Posts: 575	I've seen the one with Stephen Weber, Rebecca DeMornay is in it too. While it is good because it sticks pretty much exactly to the book, it's kind of cheesy. The acting isn't that great compared to the original, and you can definatly tell the special effects were for a cheap made for T.V. mini-series. The original, while it strays from the book quite a bit, is better because of the ambience, music, acting, and Stanley Kubrick can make anything creepy. And of course there's Jack Nicholson. While watching the Stephen Weber one I couldn't get past the fact that it was the guy from Wings.

He plays Danny, but he sucks shit. He looks like every southern grandma is about to jump out, and pinch his fat little stupid cheeks.
