This one's a classic and definitely for anybody like myself who wants to see what horror movies used to be like before CG or the overly-used exploitative gore for shock value. Don't get me wrong, Fright Night's got its fair share of gore, I just think it's well maintained and suits the genre nicely.

I just Netflixed that movie, and it does rule.
That kid, Evil Ed looked awesome after he turned into a Vam.

Great flick! did you know that actor Stephen Geoffreys who starred as Evil Ed would later in the late 90's till 2002 wound up in hardcore gay porn?

            That's gross.
Was he in "Steve's Party 3: Oiled Fists of Fury"?

Nope, last year when i did some research on him on where did he go after doing some good roles in b-movies. I stumbled on the IMDB and found out that he has done such gay porn titles like "Lube Job Bi Night, Luke Job Bi Day", "CockPit" and "Latin Crotch Rockets", now those titles made me laugh my ass off.

Now Stephen Geoffreys has quit doing that stuff and going to do real movies such as the upcoming "Sick Girl"!

I love fright night. One of my favorite horror films. Didn't care that much for the sequel though. I haven't seen these movies in years. I might buy them.

I mean how low can a good actor like Geoffreys sink?

He's has to pay the bills some way. There are plenty of little souls in Hollywood waiting to be bought and we've seen it happen countless times before.

Anyway, I wish you hadn't brought up the gay porn. I loved him as Evil Ed and as Hoax in 976-EVIL and that's all I wish to remember him for.

That's weird, Evil Ed ends up doing gay porn, Amanda Bearse turned out to be a hardcore lesbian, and William Raggsdale, well I don't know what happened to him, but he did play Ellen DeGeneres's boyfriend on Ellen, who was blind to the fact that she was a lesbian.

Kayvee, I agree sometimes you have to pay the bills, but I was reading his bio on some page, and it says he turned down the role of Evil Ed in Fright Night II, so either he just wanted to do gay porn, or he later regretted turning down such roles when he had the opportunity.

Man that sucks. Having evil ed in fright night 2 would have been really cool.

I know, the first time I saw it I was totally expecting him. I mean what else would you expect after the way the first one ended?

Will Evil Ed be able to redeem his butt-fucking days of yore by appearing in Fright Night 3? You decide America.....
