Hey Everyone! I found this site through Stumble Upon and love it! I thought I'd share some of my Retro comics from my website. I draw the webcomic "Geek like Me" and I do a Calvin and Hobbes type retro comic set in the 80's . It's one of the main characters "Robbi" as a child with his imaginary friend "Socks". I do a lot of 80's referances and here are some examples...

Those are awesome. They're funny, and have a great retro feeling to 'em. :D

Just curious, are you Mark Hay or Aaron Wilson?

Hey everyone! I'm Aaron, Mark doesn't do much now that the comic is 3 years old. Mark help create the comic and still adds a little writing here and there. I give him his props for helping create the whole thing. The Robbi and Socks idea was the first thing I did without Marks help (thus the typos that seem to plague the comic since). Thanks for kind words about the comic. I though the people here might really enjoy them. I love this site and I'm glad I found it. If they ever feel that they'd like a comic strip, feel free to let me know. I always use my Robbi icon when I post things because I'm the physical model for Robbi (Mark is Dylan). I don't think I'm as crude as Robbi, but I do get Mark in a lot of trouble. Most of our stories are all based on true events that happened at Mark's comic store "The Comic Asylum". If anyone has any questions about Webcomics, or needs any advice feel free to ask. I'm always glad to help out.

Thanks everyone for the nice words. I've been thinking of doing a 80's parody comic. It's be kinda like Fox Trot but set entirely in the 80's. It wouldn't even be set at a particular time in the 80's just a general 80's time period. What do y'all think of something like that?

This was something that actually happened in my youth. My siblings and I had a little bon fire and tried to make it look like it was just a stain. We were real sharp...real sharp.
