Alright, listen up, everyone! A couple of members of this site have nominated me to write an article about the Top 100 80's Movies! Many think I write the best articles on this site, while I find a few who are a little better than me, but I appreciate your thoughts. If you guys want me to write this article, then I'm going to need your help.
It's quite simple. All you need to do is nominate your favorite movies from the 80's. You can nominate either here, in the "RE: My Top 20 Movies from the 80's" topic, or by PMing me. However, if you're going to participate, you'll have to follow a few guidelines:
1. Make sure the movie you're nominating is from the 80's. It must be a movie that was released in 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988 or 1989. 1990 doesn't count, so toss out the original Ninja Turtles movie. If you're not sure what year it was released, then check www.imdb.com for it's release year.
2. It doesn't have to be a live-action movie. It can be an animated movie as well.
3. Give me as many movies as you want!
I will compile every single request that I get. I'm saving this article, however, for my 40th article. Currently, I only have 33 articles on the site, but I have #'s 34 through 39 already planned. The polls will remain open until I have officially posted my 39th article. Then I will compile the nominees and the 100 most rated will be the top 100!
I encourage you to participate in this, so let's get the votes coming in!Are you sure you want to delete this post? Yes | No

Well, thanks to you guys, I currently have 106 movies in the list. A majority of them only have 1 vote, but there are plenty that have more than one. So far, the highest-rated movie on the list is "The Goonies". But please, everyone, keep nominating those movies, because every vote counts! Oh, and don't forget about those animated movies too! Okay, guys, you all seem to be sending me extensive lists, but most of which have movies that have not been given to me yet, and tons that I haven't even heard of. Don't be afraid to give me any movies that were already given to me. That's the whole point. I'll just add another vote to that one which will lead it to a higher position on the list.
If you guys could all do me a little favor: If you're gonna send me big lists, try to list them in alphabetical order; it'll make things a lot easier on me. Also, if you could provide the years they were released, that'd be helpful too.
Still, keep them coming. I have a total of 293 movies listed as of right now! So far, these are the top 10 rated:
1. The Goonies
2. Poltergeist
3. Back to the Future
4. Ghostbusters
5. Beetlejuice
6. E.T.
7. Who Framed Roger Rabbit
8. The Money Pit
9. National Lampoon's Vacation
10. UHF
Those are not necessarily going to be the official top 10; they may change due to the amount of votes I keep getting. Every vote and nominee counts, so bring them on!Are you sure you want to delete this post? Yes | No

Alright, everyone, listen up! I have just submitted my 39th article. Next week, I will start organizing the list of 80's movies you all have provided for me. This is your last chance to give me any movies. Sunday is the last day to give me any, and I will no longer be accepting any more nominees after that day. Are you sure you want to delete this post? The polls are now officially closed. You guys have sent me over 300 nominees, but in the end, only 100 will make the countdown. So will your favorites make the list? You'll just have to wait to find out. It's gonna take me a while to get it done, so expect a long wait. Are you sure you want to delete this post? Yes | No
