    Hi!

    What´s you favorite video-game company!

Personally I think is Sega, because created so many classics if there was no Sega there was Sonic, Streets of Rage etc

Imagine a world without Sega Genesis!!!!

    What´s your opinion?

I would say it's a tie for me. I mean Nintendo has Mario, Link, Pokemon. Sega has Sonic,Toe Jam & Earl. So they are equal. :D

I would definitely say Nintendo. So many classics plus my favorite system is the SNES.

              Lets see...
Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Metroid, F-Zero...

Nintendo single handedly pulled the video game industry out of the trash can, dusted it off, and turned it into one of the largest household electronics industries on the face of the Earth.

              SEGA didn't do that.
              Sony didn't do that.
              Microsoft didn't do that.

              Nintendo did that. :D

nintendo may have been the better system and had more memorable games, but one of the fondest memories of my choldhood is sitting in fromt of the tv for hours at a time rotting my brains out playing sonic the hedgehog 2 for sega genesis. anybody remember the old sega commercials where at the end there whould always be someone grunting "SEGA!!!" at the end???

A world without the Sega Genesis in particular would have been a bit less annoying. I grew tired of their commercials during the 90s, constantly insulting Nintendo. Maybe because they knew Nintendo, with good reason, had the industry in its pocket.

Definitly, DEFINITLY, Nintendo. For one thing, Nintendo is still around making consoles, Sega is not. Another thing Super Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, Megaman, Metroid, Castlevania, Contra, Final Fantasy, Double Dragon, Donkey Kong Country, and later games like 007 and Perfect Dark made Nintendo highly superior. All Sega had was Sonic the Hedgehog, which is now owned by Nintendo.

                        Nintendo all the way. 8)

I still play all my old video games as well as new ones. I have Atari (yes, it still works!), Nintendo, Super Nintendo and Game Boy Advance.

I've lived so long I have seen every video game system out there..they keep making more!:P

Although..the newer controllers have way too many buttons and things..very uncomfortable for left-handed people like me. :D

Yeah! I just joined..this is my very first post on this website/fourm!!

DEFINITELY Nintendo. As another poster mentioned, Nintendo pulled the almost-dead video game industry out of the gutter in the mid-80's and made that industry what it is today. THe original NES was a classic, it was the foundation for everything else- by any company- that has come out since. Without Nintendo there would have been no Sega Genesis.

I would definitely say Nintendo. People criticize them lately, but they forget the awesome stuff that Nintendo's done over the years.

HOWEVER, I think that Genesis, Game Gear, and Dreamcast gave Nintendo a run for its money even though none of them were as popular as their Nintendo (or sony) counterparts. But hey, whatever pushes them to develop better quality games.

Nintendo! They had all original games and making you want more! Their games evolved into much more, such as movies, toys, etc.

Well, during the censorship era, Sega was more lenient, from what I've read.

Then again, Sega only had Sonic the Hedgehog, only series I cared for on that system. On the other hand, Nintendo has more that catch my interest (Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, and just recently, Metroid.)

                                        So, Nintendo for the win.

sega as a software company and nintendo as a hardware company. te mixture is perfect now that sega kneels before nintendo in this sense. aww..mario and sonic are but one now. may sega hardware rest in peace.
