    		 I can't get enough of that free food.

    Weddings, special events, work, whatever. If it has free food, I'm going. No questions asked.

    My mother claims that I've got a little Jew in me, whatever that means.

    What free food experiences would you like to talk about?

    The best one that comes to mind was when I got to take home 7 large pizzas with different toppings because they way over-ordered. I ate pizza for two weeks straight.

      		 I go to every event around my university because of the free food. It's my student activity fees at work, just like riding the campus bus for a couple hours.
      Usually, they have pizza and drinks.
      On occassion, though, they provide 400 hot wings.
      I eat about five plates full before they cut me off.
      Plus, since I don't carry a wallet my friends buy me food.
      I'm still waiting for the cheeseburger eating contest.

        		 When I'm at karaoke, I occasionally get a soda on the house. I think that's because I always put on a good show when I sing. I'm jumping, dancing, cursing, ad-libbing...That must impress them a lot.

          		 A few years ago I called a bunch of different companies saying their products were defective, the food wasn't fresh, etc. All lies of course to see if they would refund the money. All of them sent coupons to replace whatever item I was complaining about.

          Though not food, the best was Gilette. I said that I had some broken razors in a new package. They sent a box so I could send them the defective razors, plus they sent me a $15 coupon good for any Gilette product.

            		 Wow, that's a good idea.

            What about how it says on bags of potato chips how you should call if they are defective? Ever try that?

            Its a lot of hassle just to go through for a bag of chips though.

              That's how I got the idea!!! :D

              It's really not that much effort. It's kind of fun making up why you are not satisfied with the food. Usually whoever is on the phone asks you a few questions and you get the coupon in the mail in a few days.

                                		 My school will occasionally have 'free food' events, most of which I don't attend because I don't feel like waiting forever in a line for some cheap pizza they ordered. I know the RAs are getting desperate to convince more people to pass their room inspections, so they've offered free pizza to the floor that has the most rooms pass inspection.

                                Free food doesn't really effect me, but free drinks are another issue entirely. Every other quarter, my school does this thing where it keeps all the computer labs and studios open until 3 a.m. for people to work on finals, finish up late work or just come in and chill. They have free food and drinks all night, and often I make five or six trips to the lobby for free hot chocolate or coffee. Something else they used to do was have a day of 'mock tails' - drinks sans booze to encourage people not to drink, or some dumb shit. Who'd have thought apple juice and ginger ale went together well?

                                      		 I used to deliver pizzas back in the day, and we would always have pizzas laying around. Either somebody didn't come to get it, or the order was wrong, and they would put it out for us to eat. And a lot of times at the end of the night there were pizzas to take home. And if there was a cool manager he/she would let you make a pizza and take it home for free.

                                        		 That's why I could never work at a pizza place. After a while, I think you'd just get sick of pizza. Y'know, smelling it all the time and then going home with it every night.

                                          		 Yeah, it got that way after a while. My car smelled like pizza all the time. I got to a point where I got sick of the pizza from the place I worked for, but could still eat it from other places as long as it was kind of different, then finally tired of pizza entirely. After I quit it was probably 6 months before I was in the mood for pizza again.
