It seems that this epic thread was lost in the transition over to the new forums.

It seems fitting to bring it back.

I'll say, toasted cuban sandwich, carolina style bbq chips, and an Arnold Parlmer half & half (half lemonade, half iced tea)

I love Panera's bacon turkey bravo, kettle potato chips, and Mt. Dew.

surprised this hasn't taken off like the other one did. Probably because its buried back here in nowhere land. When it was in chit chat, the sucker stretched over a hundred pages.

Yeah, I don't know if everyone realizes the 'user forums' are present.

Forget the chips and drink, just gimmie a good ol' ice-cream sandwich.

I have to say one of my all time favorite sandwiches is the BLT with some ruffles and dip and a cherry coke.

That's a great combo ilikepixies, in fact my mouth is watering. But I would go with a Reuben sandwich, jalepeno kettle cooked chips, and a dark beer, preferably Shiner Bock.

That sounds good gustogummi. I like roast beef, and honey mustard, but I've never had honey mustard on a roast beef sandwich, but I bet it's good. And Corona is pretty good.

Speaking of roast beef I was just reminded of one of the best meals I ever had. I was at this restaurant/brewery, this place brewed all of their own beer, and it was really good. Anyway I had a beer they made there, I don't know what it was called but it was an old Russian recipe, it was a dark beer that supposedly was the "drink of the Czars" back in the day, though I can't back that up with any historic fact, that's just how they described it. And with it I had a French Dip sandwich. If you've never had one it's hot roast beef and provolone cheese on a French roll, and it's served with a cup of "au jus" sauce, which is basically a cup of hot beef broth. And you dip the sandwich in the sauce. It's very good. It came with French Fries instead of chips. I would eat that every day.

Recently I had a French Dip sandwich from Arby's, and it wasn't bad, but not nearly as good as one you will get from a good restaurant. Plus I don't trust Arby's "meat" very much.

Arby's french dip kinda sucks. They had a different kind back in the 90's, then for a while earlier in this decade had no french dip. Then they came back with a different kind, it's the bread mostly, and it's not as good.

I don't like cow-meats that much, but I do like french dips!
