    		 I know it's been like a year since SkaDan made this article, but I got some stuff to say about it:

    First off, for the uninitiated, here's his list:
    20. E.T. *
    19. Who Framed Roger Rabbit? *
    18. The Shining
    17. Tootsie **
    16. Gandhi
    15. The Goonies *
    14. The Untouchables **
    13. Raging Bull **
    12. Predator
    11. Die Hard
    10. Ferris Bueller's Day Off *
    9. Say Anything **
    8. Beetlejuice *
    7. Gremlins *
    6. Pee Wee's Big Adventure *
    5. Back to the Future *
    4. Batman *
    3. Ghostbusters *
    2. Raiders of the Lost Ark *
    1. The Empire Strikes Back *

    * = a good choice
    ** = a movie that I haven't even heard of

    In my opinion, he had some good choices on this list, but I think they're in the wrong order, and he's missing some greats. I'm surprised that he left out "Airplane", "The Breakfast Club" and "Caddyshack". With the exception of "The Shining", he left out a lot of great slasher horror movies like "Friday the 13th" and "Nightmare on Elm Street". He also failed to mention any animated movies (the closest thing was "Who Framed Roger Rabbit";), which is part of the reason why I decided to make a top 10 list for that subcategory.

    I know I probably sounded a little harsh in my comments, but those are just my thoughts on the article.

      		 I actually agree with TurboLover's comment. There should be a Top 100 list of 80's movies!

        Get to it, then. The only way these articles will happen is if we write them. I'm currently working on my own 80s babes piece, but all for all my 80s fandom, I couldn't do a Top 100 80s movies list, if only because there are so many 80s movies I've yet to see.

            Sorry about that. It's just that the topic of "How come there isn't an article about (fill-in-the-blank)" comes up a lot and I just wish that people would show off their writing skills. The contributions (written and otherwise) of the people on here are what makes this site so great, and I feel it's best to be pro-active about it.

            I know that you're a good writer and I look forward to all the articles you have coming up. I hope that my articles get as good a reception as yours' do.
