Metal Slug is awesome but I'd caution against downloading it because Metal Slug Anthology is already avaialable for Wii.

That's why I didn't download it, because I have Metal Slug Anthology.

Not to mention that the version in Metal Slug Anthology has some really good controls, probably even better than the version that's on Virtual Console. I really like using my Wii remote and nunchuck when playing Metal Slug Anthology.

Yeah, Anthology is the way to go. All the games on the disc will be on the VC eventually but you save a ton of money by buying the collection. Secondly, you get to pick what kind of controls you want, which is always a nice option.

The games released for the 9th of June, twenty-oh-8, are:

                Dig Dug

                And Bio-Miracle Bokutte Upa.

Both are for the NES, and both are 600 points since they only came out in Japan back then.

I hope Yume Penguin Monogatari gets released someday!

One thing interesting is that Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa is named Mario Baby in English even though it has nothing to do with Mario.

That was actually a hack of the game.

Only one game for June 16th.

                      Samurai Shodown/Console: Neo Geo/Year: 1993/Price: $9

I highly recommend downloading Samurai Shodown, it's a classic fighting game. It's often described as Street Fighter with swords. Have fun! :D

Here's the Virtual Console line-up for June 23rd.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World/Console: Sega Master System/Year: 1986/Price: $5

                                  Burning Fight/Console: Neo Geo/Year: 1991/Price: $9

I highly recommend getting Alex Kidd, it's one of the best games on the Sega Master System.

I thought Alex Kidd was already on there? Huh, guess not...

Hah, with these Master System games, there's no reason to keep an Alex Kidd ROM (yeah, I used to ROM. Not much anymore.)

Well, nonetheless... the next other most popular Master System game they should get is Phantasy Star!
