kayvee 6 years 10 months ago Posts: 3695	I find that most people like to sit in the middle or closer and I like to sit towards the back. I have had to compromise that in the past when I went with a group. Last time I went to the movies I went alone. I felt more relaxed by myself.

System 6 years 10 months ago Posts: 74809	The reason so many shitty movies go to number one in the box office is because not enough people go to the movies by themselves. If you go by yourself you go to see something you want to see. If you go with a big pack of friends you have to see the movie which is gonna appeal to the lowest common denominator and you end up seeing Meet the Spartans or some shit.

Plus the prices are cheaper. I don't go to movies by myself because I have bad anxiety, though there are movies I would like to see.

A year later and I still didnt have anyone to go see Matrix Reloaded with. At the time the hype surrounding this movie was huge and I just had to see it on the big screen. So after much debate in my head and swallowing my pride I just said "fuck it" and went. It really was not big deal and I actually enjoyed it a lot more I think. I made a few friends in college and went to movies with them. Yet from time to time I still go by myself if I have the day off. I saw I am Legend and Transformers by myself. I would never go alone on a Friday night of an opening movie, but during the day its no big deal.

I wanted to see it because it was supposed to take place in Montana, where I'm from. It was a bit awkward sitting alone with the lights on before the picture started. Oh well. Damn, that must have been 14 years ago. That was the last time I went solo.
