Sometimes I've wanted to see a movie in theatres and for one reason or another, be it schedule conflicts, or lack of interest, I am not able to see it with other people.

I have never went to a movie by myself. Is that like admitting "ok, I'm a complete loser", or is it a pretty normal thing for one to go to a movie by themselves?

Does it make a difference if its a nighttime or matinee showing?

I saw The Darjeeling Limited by myself and had a damn good time. Of course, I was nice and baked.

Hm. I was thinking about going to see No Country For Old Men if its still in theatres. I might have to take your advice.

Sounds like a plan to me. Who needs friends anyway?

For all I know, I'd enjoy a movie theatre experience more without anyone. I've just never tried it before.

To me, it's the most depressing experience. I did it once, and I felt like a complete loser. Even wrote a poem about it back in college right after I did it.

Wow... that's what I was afraid of.

Howdy- I will probably end up seeing it. Not tonight though.

It's only depressing if you've got low self-esteem.

But yeah, getting blazed and going to see No Country For Old Men is foolproof.

I see movies by myself all the time. I actually enjoy it more by myself. I'm a pretty friendly guy to begin with, so I end talking to complete strangers while waiting for the film to start. I just haven't had the time to get out to the theater.

I see movies by myself all the time too. Although I don't go to the movies anymore unless it's a movie I just can't resist at all which I try not to feel so a lot. Renting it, having a movie ticket, or waiting for it to be at the $1.50 theatre where I live is cheaper. I'm also not going to any more night screenings either.

I was alone during screenings of "Unleashed" and "Stephen King's The Mist." I like the feeling, after all, as long as the projector doesn't get messed up or whatever you're free of any possible disturbances.

I used to go by myself all the time, only during the daytime though to kill time, thats the only reason. but not anymore.

Hey i enoy the movies by myself sumtimes... Ive gone to quite a few by myself... its usually the early Sunday showings.. other than that i would just feel out of place seeing all the couples and friends.. but i also found sometimes its not so bad, you dont have to constantly answer your friends questions..
