Time after time I get suckered in after a film is hyped up.

The first notable memory of this for me was when Jackie Brown came to the cinema here. What a bag of shit.

Lately, Snakes On A Plane and Severence had me cursing at the hours I had spent watching such guff.

All that hype and very little substance.

    Bah.

Agreed about Jackie Brown....that's one Tarantino flick that I could have done without.

Flight Plan sucked a huge cock. Awful storyline, awful acting.

Idiocracy was lame....huge disappointment from Mike Judge. A movie meant to make a social commentary about the dumbing-down of America shouldn't have comedy geared towards people with simple senses of humor.

Episodes I through III of Star Wars. I needn't say more.

I remember thinking Wedding Crashers looked pretty good.
Man, was I wrong about that bullshit fuck movie...
I honestly can't remember one funny part. Owen Wilson being a lovesick pussy, and Vince Vaughn mumbling at the speed of light. That's it.

I expect every movie to be a complete bag of horseshit, so I'm never let down.

If I had to chose though, it'd be "28 Days Later". When it came out, people were freaking out, like this is the movie that will revolutionize cinema as we know it.

Turns out it was just a watered-down zombie movie.

Oh, "Little Miss Sunshine" is too "quirky" and "feel good" for its own good. I hated it.

I'm interested in seeing if "Cloverfield" is worth the hype. Gonna check that out Friday night.

Any horror movie coming out nowadays. It's almost a 95% chance that it'll be a complete waste of time and money.

Let's just say, I hope there's a sequel to wrap things up.

I really like Idiocracy. I think it's a good thing to bring up when people start on a rant how America is turning into "1984". Plus the story behind its release and lack of advertisement from Fox Searchlight is great. All the people I know who like idiocracy are fairly intelligent. The humor had to be simple because the movie took place in a time where humor was simple. I didn't see any problem with it at least.

I was disappointed in Borat. I thought it would be more social commentary than sick, slapstick comedy from what I was hearing about the film. I was wrong.

Haha...you enjoyed Idiocracy, yet disliked Borat. Weird.

The Remake of DAWN OF THE DEAD. It could have been really interesting, but there were soooooo many things left unexplained. HANGING UP was another HUGE letdown. A great cast stuck in one of the most self-pitying movies I have ever had the misfortune of seeing.
