If movies count, then we should definitely also mention A Christmas Story.

I liked all the stop motion specials of the 1970's.

There is one I can't remember though - maybe someone can help.

It had a snow queen or ice queen and a boy and girl. I liked it, but was kinda scared when it came on. I haven't seen it in years and would like to. It wasn't stop motion though.

              Please help!

Those strange stop animation Christmas specials....who can forget those, like Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, and Rudy the elf that wants to be a dentist, lol. Lots of great bits of script in those.

I also remember the Charlie Brown Christmas special, I watch that every year, even now (via Youtube).

A Christmas Story I got into after seeing Ollie Hopnoodles Haven Of Bliss (same characters, different age, different story, and same writers and director I believe).

And we had Muppet Christmas Carol on VHS, actually, I think my sister STILL has it.

Uhm the elf that wanted to be a dentist was HERMIE, (or something like that)

                  All the Rankin-Bass specials
                  Garfield Christmas
                  The Claymation Christmas
How Grinch stole christmas (I realy love the theme song, your a mean one, Mr Grinch :D )
                  Charlie Brown
" The last man nearly ruined this place/He didn't know what to do with it/If you think this countrys bad off now just what till I get through with it":D
