    		 This show is awesome, whine about all the little flaws, or it sucked after what's his name left, or maybe your one of those whinny Robert Altman fan-boys saying it shouldn't be watched and Elliott Gould was better than Alan Alda, etc. You may think it sucks, but once you start watching it YOU are hooked! Forget Star Trek this is what the REAL nerds are watching!

      		 I loved M*A*S*H the TV Series and the spin-off "Trapper John, M.D." :)

      I never saw the movie though :(

          Oh, come on now....true, the movie wasn't as good as the show in the aspect that we're all used to the show. The movie IS worth watching though, and it's cool to see where the concept for the show came from. No one can beat Alan Alda though...Elliott Gould wasn't smartassy or animated enough.

            Actually, not to be petty but Donald Sutherland was Hawkeye in the movie. Elliot Gould was Trapper John. And I like the movie a lot. But I agree with you guys, the show is probably 1 of the 3 best shows in the history of television and Hawkeye was the role of a lifetime for Alan Alda.
