I think that if the people in a certain place find it disgusting to have your pants down around your knees with your skibbies hanging out, it should be their right to make a law against it. I think that's what a good democracy does.

    Is that "evil", Coz?

I love how they are banning them. I love to hear the people whine about how racist it is. Why do I love it? because I know that deep down in my heart, they are stupidest people I know of.

I heard this from one of my cousins so I don't know how accreate this information is but she told me that the trend of baggy pants originally started in prisons. Wearing your pants baggy meant that you up for some prison sex. Once again this is just what I was told.

My high school gym teacher told my class the exact same thing.

Just now?! Where has your city been? We banned that like 10 years ago. Well, I should say you had to wear a belt with them fully pulled up in public, but mainly at school. If they're banning them completely, it's probably because they're afraid of concealed weapons or something.

Whoever made underwear a fashion statement should be shot.

That's almost true. They're not allowed to wear belts (or shoe laces) in prison, hence the sagging. It went from prison to the streets- gangs started dressing that way from the prison style. I'm trying to remember the rap artist who made it popular... But I know that Snoop Dog and other gangsta rappers at the time made it a trend.

I'm not for the ban, it's silly to make such a big issue out of this, in my opinion. Plus, give them credit, it takes guts to wear those pants/look that stupid.
                Seconded, everything in this post.

I still don't feel there's a problem with "baggy" pants...just the sagging ones. Baggy can stay, sagging needs to go.

That aside, how in the world is it "racist"?

I don't even see what's so good about sagging your pants. It just makes you look foolish. If they was around my dad, he would pull up their pants and give them a belt.

Now we got to get the girls who wear shorts so short their ass hangs out the bottom.

whoa now hold on there is nothing wrong with a little hey hey!

Actually, when you see Thirteen year olds wear them, yes something is wrong. Fully grown women, I don't care. They're old enough. Thirteen...that's when warning bells go off in my head. It makes them look like Jailbait if you ask me.

I don't have a problem with baggy pants, it's the pants pulled down below the butt-cheeks to purposely show off one's underwear that I find annoying. Some of the guys I've seen have their pants slung so low they may as well not even be wearing pants! If a guy did go out without pants wouldn't he get arrested? What's the difference then if he has on pants but he is showing off everything he would if he weren't wearing them? I am so sick of people turning everything into a race issue. It takes important light off real racism. The ban is happening in my city as well and while I hate trend, I only partially support the ban. I think the law should only be directed toward people who have their pants pulled down below their underwear and they should add some corporal punishment. Public canings!

I just used Thirteen as an example. Anyone younger than 18 then.

the assertion that girls under 18 shouldn't dress like whores. Court-mandated statutory laws have no effect on a man's desire to view slutty teenage girls.
