Maybe someone can help me out with this . My parents recorded some sesame street stuff off a record for me when I was a lot younger, and the playlist is as follows:
Sesame street theme song
song that starts out "kats have kittens, doggies have pups...."
I'm a little unclear about the order for the others. there's one that has thurl ravenscroft singing, it's aabout the body parts we have that come in pairs of 2: "I've got two eyes, one, two, they're both the same size, one, two...."
A version of rubber duckie not sung by Ernie
the closing theme to sesame street
"somebody come and play"
then, there's "Jelly man kelly" by james taylor without the kids singing background and "Be with me" by carole king. That one is a version of the song that sounds different than the one on the album, even if it's just slightly. My theory is it was a sesame street record featuring guests that had been on the show, but I'm not sure.
If anyone could give me information about either of these, I would be eternaly grateful, since they're both burned in my memory.
