    Remember nachos that you could get at a gas station, Where you would pump as much cheese as you wanted? Those were my favorite. I liked it when the cheese would saturate the chips!

    I can't find nachos like this anymore. Taco Bell puts all this other stuff on their nachos, which is fine, but to get the amount of cheese I want on the chips I have to pay extra. Movie theatre nachos are okay, but they're expensive.

    There was a place I visited once called Maid Rite that had great nachos, but with a really strong cheesy taste. They made them big, but that restaurant is no longer in business where I live. Sad.

    At the authentic Mexican places you get a plate of chips with real cheese melted over them. To be honest, I actually prefer the processed melty stuff. To me those are the real nachos.

        I love getting nachos at a public park. Usually its the parents of whatever team is playing, maybe the player's sister as well.

        After some idle banter, you get a big, delicious plastic thingy filled with chips and that sweet, sweet processed cheese.

          I like nachos with the "real" cheese. I usually like the ones from the Mexican restaurants.

              I like the nachos loaded with processed cheese, meat, salsa and jalapenos.

              I usually make my own nachos or I go to Taco Bell for them.

                  Tostitos has those flavoured chips they have jalepino, sour cream and salsa and one other one i can't remember or just multigrain, if you add melted velveta cheese and salsa and whatever else you like you pretty much have quality tacos. Personally Tostitos makes the best taco chips and salsa oh and then you have the seven layer dip with salsa, refried beans. gwacamole(sp?) sour cream and real cheddar... damm i'am hungry now, off to the store i go. :D

                    I make my own Nachos and I usually use real cheese or sometimes I use Tostios' spicy cheese sauce.

                        If you're talking about the cheap ass pump cheese and tortilla chips, I LOVE the ones at "Showcase Cinema" in Ann Arbor, MI. I get jalapenos on them too but that is it.. I crave that simple combo sometimes...

                        Decked out nachos are great too but sometimes you just need those cheap, processed simple ones.

                            I hate those fake nachos with "cheese sauce" poured all over stale tortilla chips. But if that's what you like friends of mine always say they are best at the baseball stadium. I saw a show on the History Channel that said that form of nacho was invented in Texas at Texas Rangers ball games, which is where I first had them.

                            Personally I like to brown 1/2 a pound of hamburger meat in a pan, drain off the fat, mix that with 1 bag of shredded cheese, add more if it's not cheesy enough. Spread that mixture over a plate of tortilla chips. Place jalepenos, 1-2 per chip, over the nachos. Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the whole thing, microwave until the cheese is melted. Throw a few dollops of sour cream and bean dip on the plate for dipping, and enjoy.
