People leave comments about the article, stating stuff which I did not say. Like one person said "Just because you don't like him, doesn't mean he isn't the most popular superhero.", however I clearly stated in my first sentence (and I quote for the 1000th time) "Superman may be the most popular superhero, but he is most certainly not the best." It just makes me angry how people who post comments are completely oblivious to the article.

Some people read an article just to say their two cents, regardless of what point you're making. it sucks, to be honest, but you have to learn to ignore them

I had something similar happen in my Chun-Li article comment section--a debate over the word "first".

        See it here: http://www.retrojunk.com/details_articles/569/

If your going to argue against a popular icon like Superman, then you better have a clear definition of what you mean by "best"--a writing challenge in it's own right--and a damn strong researched argument using credible outside sources. Pure conjecture and personal opinion isn't gonna fly--pun intended. You'll just get slammed, because, in the end, you're just some guy/gal not a comics authority.
