Anybody watch it during Christmas? I do, I would watch specials such as Rudolf the Red Nosed Randeer, and Santa Claus is Coming to Town. They are great classic Christmas specials. I also watched The Cat in the Hat special last year during that time even though it's not really Christmas. Say I wonder how long as ABC Family's been doing 25 Days of Christmas anyway? I think they've also been doing it back when FOX Family was still around if I recall correctly.

          Directly from Wikipedia:

"The 25 Days of Christmas (also known as ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas, previously known as Fox Family's 25 Days of Christmas) is an annual programming block that has been shown on ABC Family and its predecessor Fox Family since 1996. As the title implies, the special is shown every year from December 1st to December 25th, showing classic holiday programming (such as Rankin/Bass' classic TV specials), as well as new television movies each year."

So yeah, it was on Fox Family and ABC Family picked it up.

But it did became "Fox Family" in 1998. Not 1996.

So started doing it back when The Family Channel was still around too? Wow, it's been around longer than I thought.

Originally it was The Family Channel, created I believe by Pat Robertson, the Televangelist. He then sold it to Fox, becoming Fox Family. They then sold it to Disney, and they made it ABC Family. Not a bad channel. Their 25 days of Christmas have a few good shows and movies, but a lot of stupid Christmas movies too.

You should watch it. It has some great chistmas specials from back in the day. I'm surprised that they're even airing these classic christmas specials, that really brings the "Family" in ABC Family.
