    		 Okay why does everybody think that I wrote this article to slam people? I wasn't slamming anybody in particular. I was trying to write a rebuttal article to SpongeRoks's article "TV Sucks Now Articles." I was trying to show people just how bad today's animation is and how bad today's voice actors are.

    I used examples like

    Rocko's Modern Life and Sponge Bob Square Pants
    Scooby Doo Where Are You! And Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get A Clue
    George of the Jungle 07 and George of the Jungle 67
    Go-Bots 04 and Gobots 84
    Transformers and Transformers Energon
    TMNT 05 and TMNT 87

    Then I thought about how bad voice acting is by using Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh! As an example of that.

    Every article that I've ever written about the cartoons that I knew and loved growing up are not about slamming this generation and yet somehow, in some strange way, people thought that I was slamming this generation. I just think that there's a lot more out there than just fart jokes that just aren't funny and bad voices .

    My thing about today's animation is simple: if you're going to do what I like to refer to as "a remake fake" cartoon show then at least pretend that you know what you need to do to do it well. Don't just throw a show up there that's badly made and call it animation and don't slam me because I think that I had it better than you guys cartoon wise.

    This is what I've been so frustrated about when the response to my article came in, both positive and negative. I thought that I needed to say something without resorting to the one thing that would have gotten my article thrown on the back pages. "This sucks!"

    I don't like saying that things now suck but the way things are going in the animation world they do suck.

      		 Probably not a good idea to post an article if you don\'t want criticism.
      Pretty much everyone on the internet is a critic. I really wouldn\'t let it bug you too badly.
      You could have written the greatest article on earth, and someone would still post something like, \"This sux LOL! And you suck for writing this sucking suck!\"

        		 Well, it\'s not that I didn\'t want any negative feed back, in fact I was prepared for people to say that they didn\'t agree with me. People somehow got the idea, and I don\'t know why they did, that I was slamming a whole generation of people when I was only slamming the cartoon offerings.

        It\'s like I can\'t make up my own mind about something without someone thinking that I just sit around at my computer all day long and piss and moan about how I think things were better in my time. :evil:

        I said at the begining of the article \"I am by no means saying that my generation is better than anybody else\'s generation. I\'m saying that my generation of animation is better than the now generation.\"

        The WC was the place where I thought people could form their own opinions about what makes their time better than anyother time? I just want people to know that I have a brain and I use my brain to form my own opinions. Even if people don\'t really agree with my opinions the opinions that I expressed in my article are my opinions and I\'m free to make whatever opinions I want to make.

        I didn\'t call anyone out, I didn\'t say \"this sucks\" and \"that sucks,\" and I wasn\'t in anyway saying that a whole generation of kids sucks. It\'s the cartoon offerings that suck. :)

              		 i think the main point was the justification for your arguments were unclear and sometimes unjust

              like the reasoning behind you not liking the current TMNT cartoon was because they had white eyes...that is just a rediculous reason to not like something

              and then your discussion about Batman TAS, The Batman, and Superfriends wasn't very clear...

              and to me the thing that didn't make since to me the most was saying how Spongebob and Rocko are completely different which they are not and it's even obvious looking at the pictures, the characters are in the EXACT came position

              i think you could have backed up your arguments better instead of stating reasons why you yourself don't like the cartoons and not talking about WHY they aren't

                		 Well, you know what guys? It's getting worse and worse the more I look at the feed back in my article so I'm leaning towards not writting anymore opinion articles about cartoons if this is the kind of feed back that I'm going to get.

                I'm not sure what I'm going to do to convince people that this isn't a "Cartoons Suck Now" article but an opinion article? :evil::roll:

                I'm getting pretty sick of defending myself. :roll:
