I like shows like Cowboy Bebop, Mobile Suit Gundam (the original, and all others in the UC calendar), Evangelion, Ranma 1/2, Tenchi muyo, Excel Saga, Dragon Ball Z... Favorite movies include anything by Hayao Miyazaki, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, End of Evangelion, and a few others.

If Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez ever collaborated on an anime series, this is what it would look like. Mobile Suit Gundam is possibly the best sci-fi series in anime- kind of a blend of Star Trek and Harlan Ellison novels. Evangelion: Think Patrick McGoohan\'s \"The Prisoner\" meets David Lynch\'s \"Twin Peaks,\" with giant mecha thrown in. Excel Saga- like animated Monty Python on acid. Hmmm... Tenchi Muyo is kind of hard to compare, though- it\'s a mix of sci-fi, fantasy, and romantic comedy, with an \"Archie/Betty/Veronica\" style love triangle in the middle.
