I want to make this clear: You will NOT be reprimanded for debating or arguing in a thread as long as it's conducted fairly and done without resorting to name calling or insinuating an insult to anyone. Also it is highly recommended that the argument resolves and returns the thread back to it's initial topic. The First time thread was locked for two reasons: 1.) because it decayed into people mostly just insulting each other along with the debate and didn't resolve anything, it just spread hurt feelings. 2.) We want to be considered a family site, so we aren't banned from school computers and that parents are comfortable with their kids enjoying the 70's 80's and 90's nostalgia on here with a friendly community and atmosphere. So my suggestion is, keep the adult content in the ADULT specified threads (this includes swearing), and keep your arguments from becoming personal fights. If we as a forum don't abide by this, we'll enforce it by other means.
